Four limited beers land Friday, September 25 with a lineup built for cooler weather, football season and the start of fall.
Fall finally showed up. So did four new beers.
It’s Release Day with a lineup that feels pretty perfectly timed for the season: TailGate Pumpkin Amber Ale, LORE: Hazerusher Hazy IPA, SHNACK: Blue Gose-ade and Slow Bier: Festbier.
It's our monthly beer drop and the program we are really excited to upon in the coming months!
Every Release Day gives our brewery team room to put several completely different ideas (a little something for everyone!) into the world at the same time. Some are seasonal. Some push one of our ongoing beer series forward. Some let us dig deeper into traditional brewing. Others taste like a blue sports drink.
And with fall officially starting, TailGateFest underway and football season in full swing, this month's lineup couldn't have landed much better.
The Lineup:
TailGate Pumpkin Amber Ale

Our fall lineup starts with a new one.
TailGate Pumpkin Amber Ale brings hundreds of pounds of real pumpkin purée together with rich Munich malt, vanilla and just a touch of pumpkin spice.
It's toasty, caramel-forward and smooth with soft pumpkin sweetness and warm fall spice without becoming overly sweet.
We wanted a pumpkin beer that actually tastes like beer.
This one feels like fall without hitting you over the head with it.
A full pint of sweater weather.
LORE: Hazerusher Hazy IPA
6% ABV | 16 oz. four-pack
Football season needs an IPA.
The newest entry in our LORE Series, Hazerusher puts El Dorado hops front and center with big tropical flavors of mango, sweet pineapple, crisp watermelon and citrus.
Specialty honey and oat malts give the beer a soft, creamy body with minimal bitterness and a juicy finish.
It's flavorful without becoming exhausting, which makes it exactly the kind of hazy IPA we want around for a long Saturday or Sunday of football.
LORE is where we keep experimenting with IPA’s Every release explores a different hop, approach or idea while introducing another piece of the growing world surrounding our core Wizards' Order IPA.
SHNACK: Blue Gose-ade

Hazerusher isn't the only September release that feels right at home on football Sunday.
SHNACK: Blue Gose-ade is a 4% gose inspired by the unmistakable flavor of...
Blue.
Light-bodied. A little bit tart. A lotta bit sports drink.
We've been making Gose-ade beers for years, and bringing Blue Gose-ade into the SHNACK family made too much sense not to do.
SHNACK is our playground for flavor-driven beer. Candy, soda, desserts, nostalgia and whatever strange idea sounds fun enough to try all have a home here.
And honestly, a blue sports-drink-inspired beer arriving in the middle of football season feels exactly right.
Slow Bier: Festbier
6.5% ABV | 12 oz. six-pack
Slow Bier: Festbier is a medium-bodied lager with soft bitterness and balanced minerality. Graham cracker and honey malt character sit underneath floral and herbal aromas.
Festbier also lands right in the middle of TailGateFest, our fall-long celebration happening at Germantown, Murfreesboro and Chattanooga.
Like Lager Projekt, Slow Bier: Festbier is built around great ingredients and respect for tradition. Brewed in keeping with the German Purity Law, the focus stays on the fundamentals: malt, hops, water, yeast and enough time for the lager to become what it's supposed to be. No shortcuts. No rushing it. This is a Slow Bier.

September's Release Day is a pretty good example of what we want these monthly drops to be.
