Moonlight & Mischief Halloween Pop-Up Opens at TailGate Brewery East Nashville

The East Nashville taproom has transformed into a whimsical, witchy escape filled with moss-covered stone, giant mushrooms, enchanted forest details, specialty cocktails and a little bit of mischief.

Something strange has taken root at TailGate Brewery East Nashville.

The taproom has transformed into Moonlight & Mischief, a whimsical Halloween pop-up running September 16 through November 1 with immersive decor, specialty cocktails, themed food and a full-room takeover inspired by enchanted forests, mysticism and a little fairy dust.

Think less haunted house and more forgotten stone cottage hidden deep in the woods.

Moss-covered walls, oversized mushrooms, glowing lights, vines and unexpected details fill the taproom, creating a space that feels like it has been slowly reclaimed by the forest.

If you're familiar with the world behind TailGate's LORE IPA series, you could imagine stumbling across this place somewhere deep inside Hopreach Grove. An abandoned stone hut, overtaken by moss and mushrooms, where something slightly magical may or may not still be living inside.

That sense of discovery carries into the menu too.

East Nashville is serving a limited food and cocktail lineup created specifically for Moonlight & Mischief, with drinks and dishes inspired by mysticism, enchanted forests and the strange little things you might find along the way.

The goal wasn't simply to decorate the taproom for Halloween.

TailGate's in-house creative and maintenance teams built the experience specifically for East Nashville, layering scenery, lighting and handmade installations throughout the space to create something guests can wander through, photograph and experience differently each time they visit.

The smaller neighborhood taproom already has a little bit of weirdness baked into it, and it's home to TailGate's wild and spontaneous fermentation program. For a few weeks this fall, that personality is getting pushed much further into the woods.

Guests can also expect special Halloween weekend programming with additional event details to be announced as Halloween approaches.
