The Nectyrthorn

The Nectarmancer returned from the Maltiverse carrying a staff of twisted wood, crowned with crystal and fruit that never withers. No record of the Nectyrthorn predates her crossing. Where she found it, and what it cost her remains unknown.

The Order believes it is the source of her power. The Briteguard saw her raise it before golden light drove them from the Gate. By dusk, the Brewmage lay defeated, his wards broken and the clearing split by roots that continued growing after she left.

She is never seen without it. Whether it grants her power or draws it from something beyond the Gate, no one can say.

Roots recovered from the battle remain sealed at Brewfall, without soil or water they continue to live.
