Every Mutt Club membership helps support animals in our communities.

Both Nashville Humane Association and McKamey Animal Center are independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations that rely on donations to continue their lifesaving work. Your membership not only spoils your dog, but helps other pets find safety, care, and forever homes.

Your Mutt Club membership makes a local impact. Depending on your home taproom, your donation will support either Nashville Humane Association or McKamey Animal Center, helping animals right in your community. Nashville Humane Association

For nearly 80 years, Nashville Humane Association (NHA) has been helping pets and the people who love them throughout Middle Tennessee. As an independent, donation-funded nonprofit, NHA finds loving homes for thousands of animals each year while providing lifesaving programs like animal rescue, disaster relief, pet food assistance, and transport services for overcrowded shelters. Thanks to its incredible community, NHA maintains an impressive 99% annual save rate.

TailGate is proud to partner with Nashville Humane Association in support of its life-saving mission. You may also know NHA through our annual Adoption Ale Photo Contest, which has helped raise nearly $250,000 over the past five years—showing what a community of animal lovers can accomplish together.

McKamey Animal Center

McKamey Animal Center (MAC) serves the Chattanooga community with a mission of "Saving Animals, Helping People." As the third-largest animal shelter in Tennessee and the only open-admission shelter serving Chattanooga, Red Bank, and Lakesite, MAC never turns away an animal because of illness, injury, age, or behavioral challenges. Each year, the organization cares for nearly 5,000 animals while providing essential community services like pet adoptions, low-cost vaccine and microchip clinics, animal protection services, and pet food assistance for families in need. Through the MAC CARES Center alone, 69 tons of pet food were distributed to local families last year, helping keep beloved pets where they belong—with the people who love them.
